Abstract:Security in transmission of confidential information is one important factor that must be maintained. One technique that can be used to deal with such matters is steganography. Steganography is the art and science which studies how the concealment of confidential information to the media so that a man can not realize the existence of the message. Media commonly used form of digital media such as images, audio and video. On steganography there are several methods in the insertion of messages, one of which is the method of spread spectrum. Spread spectrum steganography method inspired in spread spectrum communication system, the dissemination of information in the signal spectrum is much wider bandwidth than the information signal bandwidth in general. The usefulness of this deployment is to reduce fears tapping because transmitted data is random and has a tendency of properties like noise. As a final result steganography is a software design to implementation of spread spectrum steganography method in audio wave file.
